Virtual training is a fantastic option for many reasons including for clients who live too far away to access in-person training. Zoom is the main online service we use, however there are alternatives if Zoom is not accessible.
It is the perfect platform for teaching skills and behaviours in a low distraction environment, which is key to successful training and behaviour change. We will progress as if I was working with you in person and can be extremely beneficial if your dog is fearful of strangers or gets over excited when meeting new people.
With the wonders of modern technology we are not limited to inside work and can start to move training outside, into more distracting environments as things progress. We do this while working at your dog's pace for the greatest success.
Don't just take my word for it, here are some testimonials from clients who have loved the online service.
"Having had many dogs before we thought we could easily train a new puppy, but then our 8 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback Kobe arrived! Oh my gosh, he was a handful! Thankfully, Helen helped us get on the right track, giving us tips and advice on how to train him correctly. We could not meet face to face and did everything through Zoom without any problem. Helen also reviewed and commented on videos we sent her of Kobe practicing his exercises with us! Kobe is now 9 months old and we are very happy with our well behaved dog!" - Chris & Thierry, Sydney, Australia.
“Like many people, we though that this (the pandemic) would be a perfect time for a puppy (and it was!). What we didn’t remember was the boundless energy and excitement that comes along with that sweet face. Fortunately, we found Helen who helped coach us on how to keep him focused and calm. Her virtual lessons worked wonders - Moose is a much happier pup, as are his parents.” - Carrie & Doug, Denver, Colorado, USA.
