Helen was great at getting me back on track with training and helping me to notice the specific help that Nessie needed. I continue to use all the training tips on a daily basis with Nessie who is now a 'teenager'. Just the other day I was asked how I got my Cocker Spaniel to walk to heel so beautifully. "Helen helped us with our dog Bella who has reactivity towards other dogs. She gave us multiple practical exercises that helped Bella learn to refocus in situations that would trigger her. After a few weeks Bella is able to walk by other dogs without lunging at them. It was a pleasure to work with Helen. "Having had many dogs before we thought we could easily train a new puppy, but then our 8 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback Kobe arrived! Oh my gosh, he was a handful! Thankfully, Helen helped us get on the right track, giving us tips and advice on how to train him correctly. We could not meet face to face and did everything through Zoom without any problem. Helen also reviewed and commented on videos we sent her of Kobe practicing his exercises with us! "Helen is a great dog trainer! We used Helen to help train our new puppy, Roxy. When we adopted Roxy, we were told she could not be around other dogs due to aggression. Helen helped us to understand that Roxy was fearful of other dogs, not “aggressive.” I am very happy to say that after working with Helen, Roxy is now good with most dogs and has many doggy friends. Helen helped us with basic training, but more importantly, she helped us to understand Roxy by reading her body language. Because of Helen we have an amazing bond with Roxy, and we have all the tools we need to handle any situation we find ourselves in with Roxy.
